After the annual conference in the afternoon on 7 November 2002, members and guest of SMPTE-HKG section were invited to enjoy the annual dinner hosted in City Top Restaurant right above the Wei Hing theatre in City University. The dinner was sponsored by Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Ltd. and Chinam Associates Ltd.. All participants were delight to have the opportunity of gathering and welcome speeches were given by Mr Seiji Nakamura and Mr Hirosuke Matsumoto of Canon and Sony HK respectively. In addition, lucky draws were made that enhanced the cheerful atmosphere of the dinner. All participants valued the opportunity in light of fast working tempo in Hong Kong's fast moving life style and look forward for the next year's event.
