SMPTE-HK organized a seminar presented by SMPTE experts on
Saturday, 9 March 2013.
Under this unique opportunity, experts from around the world will present a one-day seminar “SMPTE Standards Update with Focus on Compression and Beyond HD”. The seminar is focused towards Hong Kong professionals from broadcast, media and related sectors to understand the future development and technical trends. Presentations will include hot topics, applications, and their development focusing on UHD (4K and beyond) and newly released international standard HEVC(H.265). The seminar is co-hosted by Hong Kong Design Institute (HKDI) and co-organized by Tech-ex Dot Com Ltd.
