Alan Chiu is the Founder and Managing Partner of ELLALAN. He is qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor (2004) and a Greater Bay Area lawyer (2023), with a diverse practice ranging from Intellectual Property, Technology and Entertainment matters, to private clients, family office and cross-border issues between Mainland and Hong Kong. Alan has 22 years' experience in advising both local and multinational companies on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious IP and technology work, including commercialization of IP assets, internal IP audits, pre-IPO IP due diligence, licensing, franchising, and high-profile cross-border litigation. His practice also covers data privacy, advertising law, competition law, entertainment law, e-commerce and cybersecurity matters, including hot topics like artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, NFT and autonomous driving.
